SLS CONNECTIONS COURSE FOR NEW MEMBERS AND VISITORS
This four week course is offered three times a year during one of the Sunday School hours. It is designed to connect visitors and
new members to the life and ministries of St. Luke-Simpson. We will talk about who we are and what we do, but most importantly, we'll
talk about YOUR place at SLS! The next course will be offered in September.

*Pre-K’s and Grades K-1 meet at 9:45 for Music in Room 104.
*Grades 3-5 end their class session with Music in Room 104.

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES...
If you've never been to a class, try them all out and then choose the one that's right for you!
FOOTPRINTS CLASS:Meets in Room 207 (children’s wing). This class of 20&30-somethings enjoy discussing real life issues in light of the Gospel.
On Easter Sunday, they’ll discuss the “Road to Emmaus” & then start a new study entitled “Servant or Sucker?” out of the mouth of God….
OPEN DOOR CLASS: Meets in Room 300 (adult wing). This class of 40-somethings loves anything from books to videos, from Bible studies to current issues.
They put their studies to action through mission projects, such as the Harbor House Christmas Party. After finishing their Lenten/Easter study, they’ll resume their study on “Boundaries”.
NEW HORIZONS CLASS: Meets in Room 302 (adult wing). This class of 50-somethings isn’t afraid of any topic! They love variety in format as well as study topics.
Their class parties are always fun and the food is awesome! They are finishing up their Lenten/Easter study on “24 Hours” an Adam Hamilton DVD study on the last day of Jesus’ life on Earth.
SEEKERS CLASS: Meets in Church Parlor (right off the coffee area).This eclectic grouping of people shares a love for studying the Bible. Our pastors typically follow the Common Lectionary as the scripture basis for their Traditional service sermons.
This class is currently studying Year C of the Common Lectionary, so their class discussions usually coincide with the Sermon topic that day.
CHURCH BOX OFFICE (CBO) CLASS: This group of retired professionals meets in the Conference Room of the Office Building. This class uses video presentation and
class discussion on a variety of topics. They are using a DVD series entitled “Devotion to Jesus.”
WESLEY FELLOWSHIP CLASS: Our oldest and wisest group of adults meets in Room 304 (adult wing). Currently studying “Teachings on Community from Jonah, Ruth, & the
New Testament.”
SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES AT 11:00 A.M.
K-5th Grade Class in Room 205 –
Using a Rotation Model Curriculum, this class studies a Bible story through music, crafts, storytelling, cooking, video, and games.
YOUTH CLASSES in the Youth Wing
This group uses the Faith Builders curriculum for youth and enjoys a lively conversation in an informal setting around the couches in the youth room.
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES...
Man cannot live on Bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. And a little Jam and Jelly helps!All new studies starting in January!
J.A.M. Session (Jesus And Me) CLASS: Meets in Room 304. This class shares their joys and concerns,
their questions and their ah-ha moments. They are studying "Modern Parables: Living in the Kingdom of God" (DVD)
J.E.L.L.Y.(Joy Equals Love Laughter & You!)This class meets in Room 302. Starting after Easter, they are delving into what it means to be United Methodist with a look at Wesleyan theology.

OLD TESTAMENT FOR BEGINNERS Sundays, April 11-May30 at 9:45 in
Room 105. Designed to help you find your way around in the Bible, use Bible study tools,
recognize major characters and events in the Bible, as well as relate passages and stories
